Ooo….here we are again…..city of big apple…….. apple is considered a computer….but I prefer it as a fruit…….anyway….its New York…and it’s fun…..u gotta love it…..otherwise stay home 🙂
My mission on the US trip was to take my friend’s mom from Vegas to New York….to the Moroccan Embassy in NY to get her ID….Long story short…..something that had to be done….:) The last time she was in NY was about 30 or 40 years ago… so you can imagine how interesting everything was…
So we stayed 2 nights in Manhattan… strolled around some streets and ate healthy food… and of course visited the embassy to sign the papers… was a nice time… after she went to sleep I met up with my long time friend Yoshimi aka Steve….my Kenguru friend from good times in Nepal…Steve is a funny dude..i love him…
Seeing again my friend Tati who I met in Greece on the island of Naxos was a pleasure….She lives in Brooklyn….and so I was able to stay in her apartment….she had a room available for me……..Tati is just an amazing person and her heart is boundless……She let me stay in her apartment for over a month…I was offered some chocolate New York fantasy fun…at the World Trade Center…so I stayed longer than expected….I always wanted to experience New York a little more than just a visit…..I think I got my share…..it was fun…
My friend Grisa does a great job with his company Flaviar…. educating Americans about the culture of liquor consumption… we had fun after not seeing each other for 10 years… comparing parties in New York to those in Slovenia… back then… our parties we organized in Slovenia a long time ago won by far 🙂
I also met here my Slovenian friend Katarina Cas (famous Slovenian actor) who happened to be there at the same time….so the stars were aligned and we had breakfast in the East End Village…..the only one missing from the table was Katarina’s friend Al Pacino who got stuck in traffic and did not make it in time…next time Al 😉
I am lucky enough to share the apartment with Merlin the parrot (the best parrot in the world) and Penny the cute bulldog….
